When did the legendary Spanish knight Rey Arturo die? He is history's greatest fencer and his rapier is Excalibres. He has knight allies such as Lanzelar, Galhardo, Gajuano, Mordres, Percibalez, etc. By the way, Arturo's wife is Jenivera.
He also ruled Spain one time.

Hello Rise283
If that's the same Rey Arturo who lived in Cama El Lote, a castle in Spain (of course) which (as the name suggests) had many bedrooms (presumably to accommodate his many knight allies), then it's generally believed that he died in the month of May. There's no agreement on which year it was though. It was almost certainly before 1889 when Mark Twain wrote his novel A Connecticut Yankee but any attempt at precision before that date would really just be the historical equivalent of attempting to bâtir des châteaux en Espagne.

Cama el Lote. But let's not go completely silly: the English Camelot was already a silly enough place.
But the OP asked, when did King Arthur die?
However surely he's still alive, albeit just in a deep sleep. Along with his Round-Table Knights isn't he supposed to be just snoring away, hidden in a cave somewhere in Wales, or was it Cornwall, or maybe Shropshire, or Yorkshire or Cumbria, or even, quelle horreur, in France if you believe the Bretons, Picards and Flemish? I thought he was supposed to be just biding his time, waiting until awakened in the hour of England's greatest need, and thereby to come again and save the country from disaster? OK, so admittedly he failed to show up in 865, 1016, 1066, 1139, 1216, 1545, 1588, 1688, 1745, 1940, nor indeed on the many other occasions when the peace and security of the realm were threatened. However maybe 'England's greatest peril' has yet to occur, and so while the country is already suffering from brexit plus war in Ukraine and pernicious self-inflicted global warming, who knows what might yet happen?

Great clip that MM. Yes - the English Camelot was very silly indeed (and only a model). Also very good points there about the sleeping, once-and-future rey and the tradition among the Bretons etc. Indeed it calls to mind the Galician variant in Iberia which purportedly featured in Twain's (sadly lost) manuscript of the sequel to Un Yanqui de Connecticut. The follow-up novel A Colorado Cowboy at the Court of Abd al-Rahman was even earmarked by his publisher for a potential Prix Bordin.
