Operation Mincemeat Empty
PostSubject: Operation Mincemeat   Operation Mincemeat EmptyWed 27 Jul 2016, 21:55

Just seen on ARTE in French a documentary about Operation Mincemeat
I had already read a lot about the operation and even read the book about it, but here it is explained in depth with all the facets, including how it could after all the precautions have been failed, also all the details as the shaping of a complete life for the death man including in his wallet a complete life including a girl, theater visits, purchases of clothes et all..

And of course there was the famous submarine, the Seraph, which delivered the corpse... the Seraph and his captain who are a story on itself...

Kind regards, Paul.

A total breach of the rules for operation names, of course - first it was too close to the operation in meaning, and it had been used before - one of the "Malta club runs".
