Europe China contacts the Jesuits Empty
PostSubject: Europe China contacts the Jesuits   Europe China contacts the Jesuits EmptyTue 14 Aug 2018, 23:05

The whole evening watching the two episodes of Arte "Chine l'empire du temps" (China the empire of time)
https://www.arte.tv/fr/videos/053439-001-A/chine-l-empire-du-temps-1-2/
As I found out as about the film that I discussed with nordmann about Confucianism, there again seems to be involved the Chinese organisation:

But in this documentary it seems to have contributed to the strenght of the documentary...
Did myself now some research on the internet as I remember Ricci from former history teaching and especially "our "Ferdinand Verbiest", who is also mentioned in the documentary.

And the Jesuits in China:

 Kind regards, Paul.
