Big brother? Empty
PostSubject: Big brother?   Big brother? EmptyFri 11 Dec 2020, 21:32

Especially to nordmann I wanted to point to a site that I coincidentally came on, while I wanted to use the term "Compromis des Belges" in Temp's thread about the "elephant" as on the question : To deal or not to deal?

So I came on this:
http://pespmc1.vub.ac.be/BelgCul2.html
And in this survey (it could be from me as it exactly fits with all what I said about Belgium on several fora in the last 18 years Wink) the author is very educatif and easy to understand.

But in my innocence I looked, as I normally do, to the about us, intrigued by the title:

"Principia Cybernetica Web"
http://pespmc1.vub.ac.be/NUTSHELL.html
http://pespmc1.vub.ac.be/BOARD.html
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francis_Heylighen

As I now see that the Belgian article is from Francis Heylighen I understand now how it fits with all what I wrote on Belgium up to now.
But that is in strong contrast with all the stuff that I read on the site.
As for instance the "global brain"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_brain

Can our erudite nordmann perhaps enlighten the dummies?

And I hope he will be not too harsh to my compatriot, nor to me...
