| There have been a few occasions when very large images have been posted which - due to them causing the entire page to expand - has caused havoc with my screen and made messages very awkward to read. Is there some way of hiding the images or otherwise reducing their impact? Personally I've got into the habit of pre-shrinking images, thanks in part to another forum I'm on requesting members don't post pictures above 600 pixels wide. |

| I implemented some code on the site a while back that should resize all large images to proportions that don't wreck the format of the page. When resized there is a link above them to enlarge them if desired. If you think the code isn't working on some browsers test it by posting one - you can always edit and delete it if it throws everything wonky, and let me know. |

| Aha! I've just tested it with two browsers. It works with Microsoft Edge but not Firefox.
Thank you. |

| I always use Firefox to view this site, and I've never had a problem re large pics ... they always automatically resize to fit, with an option to enlarge if wanted ... ie just how Nord has described above. Might the problem be perhaps your own computer/screen settings? |

| It works fine with Edge, as I say. If it is a problem with settings it must be those on Firefox, but I wouldn't have a clue which to alter or how! |

I hope it wasn't my picture of a piece of Stilton cheese that messed up your screen, Anglo-Norman. I noticed it was a particularly large image, but, knowing that nordmann's magic code usually meant that all huge pictures were automatically adjusted here, I still posted it. Sorry it if was the cheese. |

I've resized the images on the Seven Seas quiz to a maximum of 600 pixels in width. I was wondering if this needed to go down further to, say, 400 pixels. |
