Loyalty Empty
PostSubject: Loyalty   Loyalty EmptyWed 30 Mar 2022, 19:37

The quality of loyalty seems to cement so many relationships that we - and some animals - form and to which we hold true through thick and thin.  One of the joke ones is of Old School Ties - yet it would seem it can be a serious bond and has affected much of our History in UK. It seems to be something of a holding web that is important to society - and exploited for political ends. And sometimes there is no understanding of it  Why, for instance do people go bonkers over West Ham or similar?..... such as Heinz for Baked beans - or loyalty for a shabby heap of a school down the lane as much a hallowed portals of a chilling Public school? And  some people and pets can seemingly gladly die out of loyalty. It is the substance of most of our History, perhaps, mmm?

Loyalty Empty

It was a truism that the average British soldier fought for his platoon, company, regiment or similar not  for "King and Country" as the jingoist press proclaimed (and his naval conterpart's primary loyalty was to his ship).
