While stumbling around the world wide wobbly I happened upon this great little website. It contains tutorials, illustrated and video, demonstrating  many "lost" skills - from whip-stitching and pleaching hazel to making your own Roman Mozzarella.

And a taster (literally). Three lassies recreate two dishes from "The Forme of Cury", Richard II's master cooks' recipe book fom the 1390s-
