Caro's bar post on some radio howlers came just as we were immersed - throughout the house - with the comforting patter from Radio 5's nonstop 'Ashes' voices from the great game. Not paying up for the Sky-jacked sports TV of the event has been a boon of current pleasure and recalled delight. Highly skilled - well they fool me, anyway, in a few years time I bet I'll swear I saw the entire match with their description and comment  so evocative. I mourned the loss of the greats in this field but now have found some more. The humour is light, the atmosphere relaxed between rivals - or so it seems - and generous. Here's to pleasure in voice media! Cheers!
