The BL recently launched this fantastic new website "Discovering Literature", the newest addition being this linked section devoted to "Romantics and Victorians". The site serves as a portal also (see the "Discovery" tab) into online editions and excerpts from works of all genres. A fantastic resource!



The website is creaking a bit today with the number of hits it's getting, so be patient.

Here is an image from the site - a first draft of Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest" when it was still to be called "Lady Lancing" and a portion of dialogue in the first act between Algernon, Jack and Gwendolyn ...
