The war documentary The Battle of the Somme which was shown in British cinemas in 1916. According to official figures, some 20 million tickets for this film were sold in the first six weeks. Some of the footage has been used in subsequent documentaries and programmes.

The film is in 5 parts, with a total runtime of 73 minutes;
