| Indeed, ID.... Although I'd guess a goodly proportion of those male painters were actually gay (... or whatever was the equivalent in their day) since they all seem to have been reasonably clued-in to the niceties of the fashions ... and also to the frustrations, sensibilities, aspirations, hopes, fears and desires ... of their contemporaneous female companions.  |
