Why do people think that Germanic Christian Prussia is strong against the Polish-Lithuanian alliance?
What do you think of the fact that the Teutonic Order vs Polish-Lithuanian alliance war proved that medieval knights such as the Teutonic Knights are very weak warriors?
The Battle of Grunwald proves that knights were very weak warriors who had weak military training. The Battle of Grunwald was a battle in which the Teutonic Knights were decisively defeated by a Polish-Lithuanian alliance despite the Polish-Lithuanian alliance being extremely outnumbered by the Teutonic Knights.
People also say that at the Battle of Grunwald, there were pro-Polish-Lithuanian alliance heavy cavalry knights on the Polish-Lithuanian side but based on facts, reasoning, and common sense, there weren't any. Knights being on the Polish-Lithuanian side never played important roles in the Polish-Lithuanian victory of the battle because those pro-Polish-Lithuanian alliance knights never existed at all. As a matter of fact, there weren't even any type of heavy cavalry on the Polish-Lithuanian side. In fact, there weren't even any cavalry on the Polish-Lithuanian side. Yet the Teutonic Knights still lost the battle which is embarrassing.
Also, in the war between the Teutonic Knights and the Polish-Lithuanian alliance, there were only 2 battles(which the Battle of Grunwald was one of) and the Teutonic Knights lost all of them. In that other battle besides the Battle of Grunwald, the Teutonic also lost despite extremely outnumbering the Polish-Lithuanian alliance and despite the fact that the Polish-Lithuanian side never had heavy cavalry knights in that other battle besides the Battle of Grunwald.
So why do people still say that knights are decent warriors?
