I'm surprised that Clärenore Stinnes' story hasn't been made into a feature film. Indeed Clärenore's adventure was emulated in 2014 by fellow countrywoman Heidi Hetzer who drove around the world in a 1930 Hudson Greater 8 (as opposed to Stinnes' Adler Standard 6):

Their travels make the likes of Michael Palin and Charlie Boorman etc seem like those of so many pampered Johnnies come lately.
