I saw yesterday coincidentally the first episode of the 6 tomes BBC series with Michael Wood. For me at least it looks promising. The second episode is on 28 January.

Of course for history buffs as me it is perhaps all known history and nothing news, but I still find it interesting and well presented...

 So far watched the first 3 episodes , the fourth episode tonight at 21.00 hrs and then the two remaining ones.
I think a very interesting and above all an educational series and very well presented by Michael Wood.

Btw there is some lovely scenery included.
